Principal's Message

Welcome to Blairsville Elementary School, a community of dedicated teachers, staff, students, and families!  

 

We believe in the inherent ability of all students to achieve the high expectations set for them and are committed to providing a strong academic foundation in a safe and engaging learning environment.  

 

The B.E.S. community emphasizes inclusiveness and student growth.  Our "P.A.W.S." program, a school-wide positive behavior support program,  is a proactive approach to improve school safety and promote positive behavior. We are proud of this, our growing technology and STEAM programs, and other on-going initiatives to implement research-based strategies in instruction and student support.   

 

Parents and families play a vital role in each child's education.  B.E.S. teachers, staff, and administration build partnerships with families to enable each child to reach his/her full potential while developing academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.    We are appreciative of the support of our PTO and encourage families and the community to be involved in this organization as well as school activities throughout the year.
